Question by Dana: Do small/toy dogs have to go to the bathroom/pee more often than medium to large sized dogs?
I am interested in a small to medium sized dog and was wondering how often during the night, if at all, I will have to let him out. I doggie sat a yorkshire terrier for a week several months ago and he would wake me up every night between 3 and 4 to be let out. Is this common for all small breeds or did I just get unlucky with that one?

Princess, abandoned outside a veterinary surgery in August and nearly put to sleep because all the shelters were full. I adopted her at the end of August and here she is playing and finally coming out of her shell. Enjoying the kitten-hood she likely never had before. She REALLY loves her toy catnip mousey and I have had to perform “surgery” on it many times after the stuffing came out and it’s tail came off etc lol. She has many toys, but she really loves her “mousey”.
